About Rob Puryear
Follower of Jesus Christ who writes for Christians who are tired of feeling guilty about their struggles—and for new believers who are overwhelmed and don't know where to start.

I'm a follower of Jesus Christ and a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Roxboro, NC.
I'm a cancer survivor (2007). I take medication for anxiety. I coach youth soccer. I love spending time with my family.
I'm not a pastor or professional theologian—just someone who's walked through both cancer and anxiety, who's watched new believers struggle, and who believes God meets us exactly where we are.
My Mission
I don't write self-help techniques or quick fixes. I don't shame people for struggling or use theological jargon that confuses more than it clarifies. I write:
- Deep, scripture-based teaching that's accessible to real people
- Honest about struggle and weakness
- Grace-filled, not guilt-driven
- Clear, practical, and grounded in the Bible
I'm passionate about helping people discover the life-changing message of Jesus in a way that's clear, practical, and grounded in Scripture.
